“It’s been a fantastic seventeen year run — but times they are a changing and 75% of U.S. publishers have gone belly up. Girls and Corpses is still profitable but the time is ripe to focus more on the Girls and Corpses Presents Film label and distribution deal with TomCat/Summer Hill Films,” explains Founder/Publisher and Deaditor-In-Chief Robert “Corpsy” Rhine. Our first fully financed film Cynthia (Starring Scout Taylor-Compton, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Rebecca Marshall, Kyle Jones, Robert LaSardo and James Karen) will be released in 2018. And we are in pre-production on our next film, a black comedy titled ‘Flyzone’ (starring Robert Miano).
“The cellphone has killed the magazine! Newsweek, Fangoria, Gourmet, National Geographic, Diabolloique, Teen, Details, Stuff, Popular Photography and now Girls and Corpses. But I never wanted to publish a digital magazine. I wanted a tactile experience for the reader to hold in their hand and collect. Fortunately, our collectors market is still booming as our 31 print issues are already jumping in price, as high as $150.00 per copy for signed issues. This demand will only grow as Girls and Corpses fans realize that a dozen issues have already sold out and there are a finite number of back issues available and they will be quickly snapped up in our store here: http://www.girlsandcorpses.com/store/index.html
