Set in the winter of 1954, Deadly Manners takes place during the night of the affluent Billings family’s annual dinner party with their distinguished, eccentric guests. However, all is not fun and games. Shortly after the party starts, a snowstorm rages outside, trapping all the partygoers inside their host’s mansion. When a murderer starts killing off those in attendance, the race is on for guests to figure out who is responsible, or at least how to stay alive — lest they be next.
Shudder has previously partnered with The Paragon Collective on two seasons of the hit horror anthology podcast Darkest Night narrated by renowned actor Lee Pace (Twilight, AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, and Guardians of the Galaxy). The first season of “Darkest Night” climbed to #6 on the Top 100 iTunes Podcast Charts, amassing over 4.5 million downloads. Deadly Manners is the first podcast to premiere on Sundance Now.

Sundance Now and Shudder: First three episodes will be released ad free and in uncompressed sound quality on both Sundance Now and Shudder on Tuesday, October 3. Subsequent episodes will be released a week in advance exclusively of iTunes on the two streaming services and will feature premium uncompressed audio quality as well as the only place to hear episodes ad free.
