Shudder Launches Its Monthlong ‘Halfway to Halloween’ Celebration with ‘Mayhem’ Shudder TV Livewatch

Shudder TV Livewatch launches this Friday at 9pm EST with a free streaming of MAYHEM, and live-tweet with director Joe Lynch

This week, Shudder kicks off Halfway to Halloween, a month-long celebration of horror that turns April into October as we countdown the last 6 months to Halloween. Included in Shudder’s programming is the launch the new free initiative, Shudder TV Livewatch.

NEW: Shudder TV Livewatch
Starting this Friday at 9 PM EST, Shudder will stream a film every Friday for free, with no membership required, on the Shudder TV live channel (viewable here). For the first Livewatch, Shudder has teamed up with director Joe Lynch to stream his acclaimed movie Mayhem. Joe Lynch will live-tweet the movie with fans using the hashtag #Shudder, and @Shudder will be retweeting fans that watch along live.

NEW: Halfway to Halloween
Shudder TV Livewatch kicks off Shudder’s Halfway to Halloween, a month-long celebration of horror marking the halfway point to October, which begins this week. Each week will feature programming centered around a different horror theme, including nunsploitation, creature features, possessions, and slashers.
