Sutter Cane (Jürgen Prochnow, Dune, The Seventh Sign) is the best-selling author whose newest novel is literally driving readers insane. When he inexplicably vanishes, his publisher (Charlton Heston, Soylent Green, Planet Of The Apes) sends special investigator John Trent (Sam Neill, Jurassic Park, Dead Calm) to track him down. Drawn to a town that exists only in Cane’s books, Trent crosses the barrier between fact and fiction and enters a terrifying world from which there is no escape.

A boating accident runs a young man and woman ashore in a decrepit Spanish fishing town which they discover is in the grips of an ancient sea god and its monstrous half human offspring.

Everyone’s favorite mad scientist Herbert West is currently in jail after having state’s evidence turned against him by his former assistant, Dan Cain. While being led away, some re-agent falls from his pocket where it is picked up by a young man who was camping nearby. The young man finds Herbert down in his jail cell and learns for himself just what the re-agent is capable of.

The story follows a mother of two who inherits a home from her aunt. On the first night in the new home, she is confronted with murderous intruders and fights for her daughters’ lives. Sixteen years later when the daughters reunite at the house, things get really strange.

A Code Red Release – Lindsay (Mary Wilcox, Lepke) has an unusual fascination with the dead, she often finds herself at funerals for people she doesn’t even know. Once the mourners have cleared out, she’s drawn to the corpse by an unspeakable sexual curiosity. It appears that this obsession with the recently deceased has been brewing within Lindsay for quite some time and might have been something to do with her late father. She makes an attempt at a normal relationship with Lyle Waggoner (TV’s Wonder Woman), but is also lured into a corpse-loving cult by a creepy undertaker. Equal parts sick soap opera and exploitation, Love Me Deadly still has the power to disturb and disgust 46 years later after its original release. Christopher Stone (The Howling), Timothy Scott (The Farmer) and H.B. Halicki (Gone in Sixty Seconds) co-star in this 1972 cult classic. Newly Remastered in HD from a 2K scan of the original camera negative.
