Helping Horror Fans Affected by Con Closures in Several UK Cities

We are happy to share the following message and help support our friends over at Popcorn Horror:

Like many horror fans we were very sad to hear of the closure of WB events horror con events. The UK needs more for horror fans, and for horror creators!

Since 2011 we have showcased and promoted indie horror creators, and we have run Glasgow Horror Fest for the last four years. When we heard the news of WB Events closure, we wanted to help out those affected. So, we have decided at Popcorn Horror HQ to offer £10 off all tickets for Glasgow Horror Fest this Halloween to anyone affected by these recent events – anyone planning to attend Bristol Horror Con, London Horror Con, Birmingham Horror Con, or Edinburgh Horror Con

That means folks can get an all access, two-day pass for the full weekend with us. Tickets cover ALL shows, films, areas and attractions taking place over the two days. That means you can get a ticket for £26.99, and have an entire Halloween weekend of horror entertainment. Those interested can email (cara@popcornhorror.com) with a quick screenshot of a booking for any cancelled horror event, and we’ll send a code for booking.

Bottom floor is very much a convention hub – with stalls, artists and vendors, demos of FX/costumes etc., horror book and comic shop, free to play retro horror games, live monsters and tattooed mermaids. The top floor will have feature films, shorts, the classic House on Haunted Hill…in EMERGO, monster FX demos, a horror musical, demonic burlesque, industry panels/Q&As, guest speakers on topics ranging from sleep paralysis to horror gaming. There’s also an escape room game in a nearby second venue on the Saturday night.

We realise this might be more traveling than some were anticipating. But we promise a warm, creepy Scottish welcome to all – and friendly crowd of fellow horror fans to spend an amazing Halloween weekend with!
