Full Season Available for Streaming of Award Winning Horror Web Series- “Or So the Story Goes: Knock Knock”

OR SO THE STORY GOES is back with a new chapter of true horror. What is more terrifying than a home invasion? We bring you tale of thieves and consequences in a retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. All episodes of OR SO THE STORY GOES: KNOCK KNOCK are now available for streaming free via the SeekaTV App on AppleTV, Roku, Android, iOS and online via the streaming platform SEEKATV.

KNOCK KNOCK, directed by Theresa Labreglio, stars actor Joe Lenihan (Caught, Glory Days) as Jack Jacobs- a teen boy who after the death of his father, goes to extremes to help his family find money to keep their home. We soon find his actions come with a price when unexpected visitors, Hank Morris (Lea, Play) , Diann Gogerty (God’s Law, The Angry Man) and Bryan Civitarese (Reunion 108) show up to take back what was stolen from them. His family, Melissa Malone (At the End of the Day, Messenger of Wrath) , Rainni Moran (Kira Burning), Tessa Zugmeyer (introduced here) and family friend, Penelope Hinds (Golden Rule) must then engage in a fight for their lives to survive the intruders’ sadistic games.

Beginning as a teen outreach program to teach filmmaking, the series has become an award winning PG-13 horror series and still uses numerous teens in it’s cast and crew, including now 17 year old Rainni Moran as Assistant Director. Moran gained her first AD role with the series at the age of 13. Since its origin, the series has traveled to numerous comic cons (Tampa Bay Comic Con, Super Megafest, Wizard World Philly, Pittsburgh and Chicago- to name a few) with panels on the show. It has additionally been an Official Selection and an Award Winner at numerous festivals including Vancouver Web Fest (WINNER: Best Horror), Baltimore Next Media Festival (WINNER: Best Teen Web Series), Minnesota Web Fest (WINNER: Best Horror), die Seriale, NZ Web Fest and more. It has also been nominated for two Young Artist Awards and six Indie Series Awards, bringing home the win for “Best Original Song” in 2016 and “Best Soundtrack” in 2018.

The six episode season runs on the digital platform throughout 2019, and special behind the scenes features will be added throughout the year. The series has garnered the attention of bloggers, podcasts and journalists – with coverage appearing in WebVee Guide, Indie Series Network, Buzzfeed and more.
