Cautionary Comics has assembled a fantastic foursome that just might take the world of comics through the glass roof. Benjamin L Henderson is Founder / Creator / Fictioneer, Chuck Dixon is Co-Owner Master Fictioneer and Senior Editor, Brett R Smith is Co-Owner and COO, and Mike Baron is Co-Owner and Editor-In-Chief. Together, they are on a mission to expand the scope of entertainment and create the ultimate Cautionverse.

About Brett R. Smith
Brett R. Smith is a professional commercial artist working in the graphic novel industry as an editor and creative director, a color artist in the comic book industry, a storyboard artist in the advertising industry, and a graphic artist for multiple clients. He holds a B.F.A. in Animation. Smith started in the commercial art field in 1995 as an in-house color artist for Chaos! Comics. Since then he has worked with a wide array of clients, including Marvel and DC Entertainment, Hasbro, Cartoon Network, McCann Erikson, BBDO, and Saatchi & Saatchi. Smith has contributed to multiple premier properties and licenses including, The Avengers, Batman, Superman, GI Joe, Wolverine, Suicide Squad, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hulk, Chase Bank, Miller Beer, Cheerios, Ford Motors and many others. Smith was a co-adapter, editor and creative director for the New York Times #1 best seller, Clinton Cash: A Graphic Novel.

About Mike Baron
Mike Baron is the creator of Nexus (with artist Steve Rude) and Badger two of the longest lasting independent superhero comics. Nexus is about a cosmic avenger 500 years in the future. Badger, about a multiple personality one of whom is a costumed crime fighter. First/Devils Due is publishing all new Badger stories. Baron has won two Eisners and an Inkpot award and written The Punisher, Flash, Deadman and Star Wars among many other titles.

Baron has published ten novels, Banshees, Domain, Helmet Head, Whack Job, Biker, Sons of Privilege, Not Fade Away, Sons of Bitches, Skorpio and Disco. Banshees is about a satanic rock band that returns from the dead. Helmet Head is about Nazi biker zombies. Whack Job is about spontaneous human combustion. Biker is hard-boiled crime about a reformed motorcycle hoodlum turned private investigator. Skorpio is about a ghost who only appears under a blazing sun. Disco is about a boy who raises a pup to be World Disc Dog Champion.

This idea, combined with his passion for leaving his stories behind, got his wheels turning!
