CRYPT TV-FACEBOOK WATCH BEATSHEET
-Crypt TV has signed onto a content partnership with Facebook Watch to create a slate of series for the video platform.
-The content will include 5 series, with approximately 10 episodes a series.
-The deal was announced by Crypt TV CEO, Jack Davis and Facebook.
-Facebook Watch and Crypt TV are currently in active development.
-The episodic series content is exclusive to Facebook Watch.
-Executive producers on the series from Crypt TV are Jack Davis, Kate Krantz and Darren Brandl. wiip will also serve as co-producers.
-Crypt TV was founded in March 2015 and began putting up content a month later. They launched their first video on Facebook and made Facebook their primary and exclusive platform for the first 2 years of their company as they grew their brand and secured a $3.5M fundraising round in March 2017.
-Crypt TV chose this route because they believed in the platform and wanted to be a recognizable consumer brand within Facebook in its initial forray into video, proving to be a key decision that set the stage for Crypt’s growth.
-Crypt TV represents a new type of media company, creating a new generation of iconic monster IP for young people. This content has seen success on Facebook as it thrives on a deep, focused audience connection built around IP that can be consumed in multiple, interactive ways on the platform including the core video, AR camera lenses, messenger, merchandise and more.

-This deal extends an already strong relationship between the two entities, with Crypt TV having already shown a vested interest in sharing content on Facebook Watch and their overall investment with the Facebook Watch platform.
