Dawna Lee Heising’s “Dark Classics”, RoboWoman & Black Mamba Are Official Selections of Del Weston’s 2019 Action On Film International Film Festival

Dawna Lee Heising’s “Dark Classics”, Dustin Ferguson’s “RoboWoman” and William Lee’s “Black Mamba” are honored to be Official Selections of Del Weston and Theresa Weston’s 16th Annual Action On Film International Film Festival. In addition, “Dark Classics” is an Official Selection of the 2019 Hollywood Dreamz International Film Festival. Both prestigious and highly successful Film Festivals will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 24 through August 3, 2019 at the Brenden Theaters, located in the Palms Hotel & Casino.

Director Craig Railsback filmed Dawna Lee Heising performing a monologue by Lady Macbeth from Shakespeare’s classic play “Macbeth” for the dramatic short film “Dark Classics”. The dramatic monologue by Heising as Lady Macbeth from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” Act 5, Scene 1 was originally filmed and directed by Railsback as part of filmmaker Brian Barsuglia’s 2019 documentary “A Bard for the Ages: Shakespeare’s Timeless Effect”, and was later released as a segment of “Dark Classics”. “Dark Classics” is edited by Dr. Renah Wolzinger, and produced by Heising, Railsback, Dr. Wolzinger, Keith Wolzinger, Dan Kennedy and Sean Glumace. Dr. Wolzinger is the CEO of Renzone Music, and Railsback is the CEO of Railsback Productions.

Heising trained for her performance with actress, musician and playwright Karole Foreman, who is an expert on Shakespeare and recently wrote the musical “Rule My World”, based on Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra”. Director Dustin Ferguson’s “RoboWoman” is about the journey of Vivica Stevens aka RoboWoman. Dawna Lee Heising (Finding Purpose, Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance) plays Vivica, who has just finished her last day at the office before accepting a date with a co-worker played by Jonathan Nation (Elvis Lives!). Their night on the town quickly turns to terror when he brutally assaults her with a group of his friends and she is left for dead. However, she’s able to quickly recover with the aid of futuristic “Cybernetic” transplants, which she uses to track down and kill her assailants one by one. “RoboWoman” also stars Aki Aleong (“Missing In Action III), Mel Novak (“Bruce Lee’s Game of Death”), Brinke Stevens (“Slumber Party Massacre”) and Sue Price (“Nemesis 2” through “Nemesis 5”). Vida Ghaffari (“The Mindy Project”), Freddy James (“A Doggone Adventure”), Peter Stickles (“Showgirls 2”), Thom Mulligan (“FBI: The Untold Stories”), Mark Popejoy (“The Amityville Legacy”), Clint Beaver (“Nemesis 5”), Zach Muhs (Albert Pyun’s “Bad Ass Angels And Demons”), Gregory Blair (“Garden Party Massacre”), Shaun Vetick (“Flyover Country”), Ken May (“House of Pain”) and Nathan Gershon (“Life Insurance Lottery”) appear in the film as well. “RoboWoman” is written by Mike Reeb (“Nemesis 5”), produced by the late Randy Scornavacca and executive produced by Aki Aleong. The special effects were created by Joe Castro (“Wishmaster 3 & 4”, “Night of The Demons 3”) and the poster is by Gaz Jackson.

Director William Lee’s “Black Mamba” is a supernatural action/martial arts thriller about a woman who is killed by corrupt cops, and then is reincarnated as an assassin charged with destroying those who killed her and her friends. The action-packed revenge drama was written and directed by Lee, and stars Angela D. Williams, Lee, Banza Townsend, Grace Kelly and Doug Whitlatch. The cast includes Anita Farmer Bergman, John French, Brittany Picard, Andi Gudgeon, Lec Zorn, Bret Knower, Robert Lamar Burns, Simeon Teague, Anthony Vickers, Lyindaa Russell, Cliff Cash, Max Soliz, Nicky Kalck, Trent Hawthorne-Richards, Molly Bernfeld, Dominick Wilkins, Donald Smith, Donnie Dunn, Ernest Jam, Ray Powell and many others.
