From the directors:

We moved into a house ten years ago, and all of the creepy events of the first act of the film really happened within the first year of staying there. Our desire was for the beginning of Echoes of Fear to capture those frightful moments and our own sense of growing dread– the most primal of fears of what goes bump in the night in the place you sleep. Then we came across two other true horrific tales and soon the terrifying story of the film emerged. We wanted to start the film as a building supernatural haunted house chiller- then keep turning the screws until the female leads must violently confront the unexpected evil within the house– all while making Echoes of Fear a fun thrill ride full of suspense, twists and scares! Our other goal was to really show the growth of the main female character as she comes into her own person— learning to believe in herself as she fearlessly faces down the terrifying events around her with her best female friend.”

Echoes of Fear received its World Premiere at the 18th annual Shriekfest Horror Festival, the longest running horror festival in Los Angeles, where it won Best Supernatural Horror Feature. 16 festivals have since followed and the film has won Seven Best Feature Awards.
