“Kinderfänger” is the latest project from Crypt TV, a Blumhouse-backed genre brand creating the next generation of iconic monsters, who has more than 10 million followers across its pages on Facebook, with 1.8M speaking Spanish as a first language, and over 14 million social media followers combined across platforms.
Based on the 2017 Crypt TV original digital series of the same name, which was produced and directed by Christopher Alender who serves as co-producer on the new series with the studio WIIP, “Kinderfänger” is written by Aaron Burgess and Matt Golad, and directed by Bridger Nielson. Along with Angel Theory, the series stars Alexander Neher and Andi Chapman. Jack Davis, Kate Krantz, and Darren Brandl executive produced for Crypt TV, with Jeremy Elliott, Trent Atkinson and Angel Theory serving as co-executive producers.

Series description: When vulnerable kids start going missing, Olivia, a hard of hearing/deaf care worker with a troubled past, goes searching – only to find herself in a battle with the Kinderfänger; a mythical creature who will stop at nothing to keep the children he’s stolen.
