Hip Hop Icon Petey Pablo Goes Ghost Hunting In “Haunted with Petey Pablo”

Hip Hop icon Petey Pablo takes paranormal investigations to another level in this new trailer for Haunted with Petey Pablo

Haunted is a paranormal investigation documentary directed by Tony H. Cadwell (Behind The Sightings, Balsam). The film follows Petey Pablo as he conducts his first paranormal investigation at an old family farm that has been converted into a haunted attraction known as The Woods.

Tony H. Cadwell recently debuted the trailer for his new paranormal documentary with Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th 7,8, 9, Jason X, Hatchet). Cadwell stated, “This investigation with Petey Pablo is the most insane investigation I have ever been involved in. You have an old family farm in Greensboro, North Carolina. It’s home to a creepy haunted attraction. But what is terrifying about this place is its history. There is a graveyard on the property. The property has ties to a notorious Revolutionary War battle. The property owner confirmed that there had been numerous exorcisms conducted on the grounds with spirits bound to the land. When you factor in having Petey Pablo involved in the investigation, you have something truly horrifying and extremely entertaining.”

Petey Pablo is a multi-gold and Grammy-nominated hip hop artist. He is known as one of the more versatile rappers who came out of the Dirty South school of hip-hop. The North Carolina native has demonstrated the art of mixing poignancy with sharp, gut-wrenching lyrics that reach across age, race, and social status. The gruff-voiced MC was born and raised in Greenville, NC, and is best known for rap anthems such as “Raise Up,” “Freek-A-Leek” and “Carolina Colors.”

Petey Pablo stated, “Everyone has heard ghost stories about places being haunted. There are lots of reported hauntings right here in the Carolinas. I grew up hearing many of these stories. It’s something I have always been curious about, so when I linked up with Tony Cadwell. We decided to collaborate and bring Haunted to life. It’s a project that is not just for entertainment. It’s a very educational and a positive experience. Of course, it’s also extremely entertaining.”

Haunted is set for release in 2021 as both a film and television show.
