Horror Slasher ‘The Elsewhere’ Begins Crowdfunding Campaign

333 Productions is thrilled to announce the addition of Jamie Bernadette to the cast of our upcoming short film The Elsewhere. Ms. Bernadette (I Spit on your Grave: Deja Vue) comes on board in the role of Jasmine, a mysterious young woman who appears at a party and spends the night gaining the trust of the film’s lead, Emma.

The Elsewhere revolves around the lead character Emma, played by Shanda Renee (Raising Helen). Emma is a struggling writer who begins her day with receiving incredible news. Her sister, Sharon, decides to throw an impromptu celebration party for her later that night. Soon after arriving, Emma runs into ex-boyfriend, Brad, who shows up uninvited and reminding her why they are no longer dating. At the height of the party Emma is approached by a suave film executive, Steven, who suggests she leave with him as payback for her newfound success, but their conversation is interrupted by the mysterious Jasmine, who saves Emma from having to make a choice. The party lasts well into the night with Emma being the center of attention for each of these individuals. The next day finds Emma alone in her bedroom unable to speak or hear. Anxiety, fear and hysteria builds as we learn through flashbacks exactly what happened later that night and into the next morning.

Kerry Fleming (Rock Paper Scissors) who wrote this story, will also be making his directorial debut. Trent Moran (Rainbow Door) will serve as the film’s cinematographer. Principal photography is scheduled to begin this spring in the San Luis Obispo area of California.
