British Folk-Horror Feature Film ‘I Curse This Land’ Crowdfunding Campaign off to ‘Wicked’ Start

Trash Arts Productions and Brutalist Films’ latest indie horror ‘I Curse This Land’ is already attracting attention from fans and industry professionals alike. The second collaboration from the two cult-favourite production companies offers the chance for backers to have a creative input into the film along with the more traditional perks of credits and copies of the film. Written and Directed by folk horror aficionado Jackson Batchelor and with Cinematography by multi-award winning Sam Mason Bell, ‘I Curse This Land’ tells a supernatural tale that looks at the trauma of the past and the effects it can create on the present. The cast is made up of a Who’s Who of the British Indie-Horror Film scene including Annabella Rich, Chris Mills, Charlie Bond, Ella Palmer, Simon Berry & Andrew ‘Ciao Handy’ Elias.

Filming will take place during the summer or 2022 in and around Selsey, West Sussex, UK, both the setting of the story and a town notorious for the gruesome hanging and display of smugglers bodies during the Eighteenth century.

Trash Arts has produced over 15 Horror Feature Films including; Terror At Black Tree Forest, The Truth Will Out, Acting & The Millennial Killer, many winning awards at festivals and receiving international releases. Trash Arts have already shot the Feature Film ‘Incessant’ this year with Brutalist Films and have previously partnered with other stalwarts of the fantastic indie horror community such as HB Films and SCS Entertainment.
