Shriekfest Announces the LOS ANGELES PREMIERE of VOLITION!

Hot off the heals of its UK Premiere at London’s FrightFest, the mind-bending science-fiction thriller, VOLITION will have its LOS ANGELES PREMIERE at LA’s legendary Shriekfest (Sept. 26-29, 2019).

Written and produced by Tony Dean Smith & Ryan W. Smith in association with Paly Productions, Volition is a gritty science-fiction thriller, about a man afflicted with clairvoyance, who tries to change his fate when a series of events leads to a vision of his own murder.

The film stars Adrian Glynn McMorran (The Revenant, Arrow), alongside sci-fi fan favorite Magda Apanowicz (You, Caprica, KyleXY). The film also stars brothers John Cassini (Seven, Continuum) and Frank Cassini (Watchmen, Good Fellas), alongside Aleks Paunovic (Snow Piercer, War for the Planet of the Apes, Van Helsing, Dirk Gently), and Bill Marchant (Chappie, Strange Empire).

Volition aims to reach fans of intelligent sci-fi. Reviewers are already likening it to classics such as LOOPER, MEMENTO, and INCEPTION

The annual Los Angeles competition will kick off with an opening night gala September 26
