This Labor Day Weekend, The Nest in Brooklyn gets taken over by the minds behind Another Goddamn Horror Podcast to bring you 2 days of comedy, live podcasts, metal & all things horror.

September 4th (4pm – 10pm):

-Lupe Rodriguez resurrects his immensely successful midnight show “Black Metal Chvrch” featuring the darkest stand up comics in NYC and it takes place inside Lupe’s very own Church Of Black Metal live on stage.

-NYC’s Junk Made iLL are anything but your typical band of misfits. Melding together punk, pop, synch and experimental…JMI brings an entirely unique sound to the stage that you can’t miss.

-NYC punks “Bright Ugly” take the opening spot. Some of Brooklyn’s finest & filthiest, they’ll settle in perfectly underground at The Nest.

-Headlining night one will be Brooklyn metal pioneers, The Unbroken. Formed in the high powered Brooklyn metal scene, The Unbroken are rising out of the murk and taking the world by storm. A band dedicated to punk rock ethics and a vicious modern metal sound that goes for the throat they develop on the work of their influences, bands like Metallica, Pantera and Slipknot in order to cultivate something greater.

September 5th (2pm – 11pm):

-We’ll be opening night two with comedy from Another Goddamn Horror Podcast’s own Ryan Danley and Jonas Barnes along with NYC’s darkest woman in comedy, Lauryn Petrie. They’ll be joined by NYC native and national headliner, Erik Bergstrom. But, this is a horror festival…so we aren’t done yet.

-Headlining the comedy portion will be Zac Amico! Zac Amico is horror personified. He’s been a mainstay with Troma for years, being featured most recently on Return To Nuke Em High Vol. 2 along with Shakespeare Shitstorm. His podcast, Zac Amico’s Midnight Spookshow is GaS Digitals resident horror show and he’s literally been a part of a traveling freak show. He’s roasted people on Comedy Central and hosted roasts completely naked. You do NOT want to miss Zac’s show.

-Graham Fahey, Ryan Danley and Jonas Barnes will record a live episode of Another Goddamn Horror Podcast with a surprise guest. Closing out the podcast portion will be a live watch along & recording of Zac Amico’s Midnight Spookshow with a surprise guest as well.

-If you want metal, that’s what you’re getting to close out the festival on night 2. We’re starting with Dissident Corpsepile, a 3 piece Grindcore assault from right here in NYC. And your headliners…

-Closing out the festival in true horror metal fashion: Ghastly Sound. Ghastly Sound comes all the way from Burlington, Vermont. Worshipping at the altar of volume, GHASTLY SOUND’s presence is as large as it is loud; sludgy bass riffs merge with spiraling time signatures and vocal hooks cut through the noise as burning screams interweave with dream-pop melodies. Drawing influence from contemporaries like Kylesa, Torche and Red Fang, as well as no wave pioneers from Helmet to Unsane, GHASTLY SOUND aims to remind listeners of an era when both bands and people lived authentically.

-Along with all that, we’ll have a live art exhibition from local canvas artist Xavier Blank, a horror artist showcase, merchandise vendors on site along with a special raffle for a one of a kind piece of horror merch that you’ll have to be there to see. All proceeds from the raffles will go to the following charities: The Innocence Project, Brooklyn Movement Center and P:Ear (Portland, OR Youth Outreach Charity)

Another Goddamn Horror Festival is proudly sponsored by: Fangoria, Liquid Death Mountain Water, The Slasher App, Callosum Studios, The Tiny Cupboard and Loaf & Butters.

Get ready for laughs, music, horror and more!!!
