Haunted Trolley Presents “Final Stop: Murder on the Rails” this Halloween Season in East Haven, CT

THE HAUNTED TROLLEY, Connecticut’s most unique Halloween experience, returns to the Shore Line Trolley Museum, 17 River Street in East Haven for the third year in a row with an all-new show this year. Whereas it debuted as a curated high-concept event mixing storytelling, the paranormal, theater, and the ride itself, it is now a full-out on-board Murder Mystery Theatrical Experience.

This year, THE HAUNTED TROLLEY presents “FINAL STOP: MURDER ON THE RAILS,” an all-new exclusive Halloween-themed Murder Mystery experience very different from last year’s presentation. Guests will take an unforgettable ride aboard an ancient trolley with hosts who will turn their evening into a journey they won’t soon forget. It’s a live whodunnit that includes the interactive adventure plus the ride itself.

Limited to only 40 passengers per adventure, the event includes a pre-ride orientation and introduction to the plot and is an immersive 30-minute show/program combining murder, thrills, theater, Halloween themes, and a heavy dose of comedy.

The promoters make it very clear that this is not an indoor or outdoor haunted attraction, and it is very different from prior productions. It is not a hayride, and it is not a trail in the woods. There are no zombies, no clowns, and no masked monsters. There are no chainsaws, loud music blaring, or teenaged actors jumping out or chasing you or screaming in your ears. And there’s no waiting in line for hours. Expect fun + mystery + laughter + great ride!

Admission is only $29 per person (in advance only) with timed admissions every Friday and Saturday in October at 7pm 8pm 9pm and 10pm, plus the last Sundays in the month 5pm 6pm 7pm and 8pm (5pm and 6pm are designated as family/kid-friendly), and also one Thursday on Halloween night (with the earliest of rides designated as family/kid-friendly). There is also a limited number of $49 V.I.P. upgrade tickets which entitle guests to first boarding – choice of priority seating aboard the Trolley – plus a free souvenir logo shirt. Tickets are now on sale at: https://haunted-trolley-murder-mystery.ticketleap.com/2024/

All ages are welcome, but under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The Sunday matinee rides and the ones Thursday Halloween night at 5pm and 6pm will be the most family-friendly and best suited for younger kids.
