W.M. Weikart is a writer and director recognized for his visually inventive and psychologically complex storytelling. His feature film, Soul to Squeeze (2025), explores fractured memory and shifting perception through a bold cinematic lens. Weikart’s diverse body of work also includes directing the official music video for “Wasteland” by New Originals, featuring acclaimed musicians Daru Jones, Adrian Belew, and Jerry Harrison, as well as the animated short “Yellow,” written and performed by the late Daniel Johnston.
