Breaking Glass Pictures is thrilled to announce the worldwide release of The Lizzie Borden Game, a genre-blending horror-thriller from longtime collaborator and cult horror auteur Calvin Morie McCarthy (Conjuring: The Beyond, Conjuring: The Cult, Beware the Boogeyman, An Amityville Poltergeist). The film will be available on digital platforms worldwide beginning August 1, 2025.
After the sudden and mysterious death of her parents, Emily (Airisa Durand) is invited to a secluded Friendsgiving retreat at a gothic castle. But what begins as a chance to heal quickly turns into a waking nightmare when the group unearths an eerie local legend—and dares to play The Lizzie Borden Game. The result: a deadly portal is opened, unleashing the vengeful spirit of the infamous axe murderess herself.
Also starring Jason Brooks (Friday the 13th: Vengeance), Laura Wilson, Jessica Noel Thompson, and Chynna Rae Shurts as Lizzie Borden, the film combines suspense, supernatural horror, and twisted humor with sharp visuals and relentless energy.
