Four Horsemen and Dystopian Films, today announced the upcoming release of “Kill Me I’m Irish,” a gripping psychological thriller that turns St. Patrick’s Day celebrations into a nightmare of suspense and terror. The film, written and Directed by Simon Phillips, is currently in production with a worldwide theatrical release planned for 2026.

Set against the backdrop of New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day festivities, “Kill Me I’m Irish” follows Detective Michaels (Nick Biskupek), a haunted NYPD investigator who has spent six years tracking a serial killer (Simon Phillips) targeting Irish women. As the Killer circles his seventh victim (Shayna Burns) Detective Michaels teams up with rookie Officer Rodriguez (Sienna Star) in a desperate race against time to stop the murders before another victim falls.

Director of Photography and Co Producer on the film Adam Kirkey stated “Working with and seeing how Simon works has been a great opportunity, I’ve really appreciated the creative freedom he’s give me and my talented lighting department”

Irish born Director/Writer/Actor Simon Phillips “‘Kill Me I’m Irish’ takes the familiar serial killer genre and turns it inside out. What starts as a cat-and-mouse thriller becomes a deeper exploration of guilt, faith, and redemption set against the vibrant backdrop of St. Patrick’s Day in New York. This is a film about how tradition can be twisted into something monstrous, and how true justice comes not from revenge, but from the courage to face our demons. We’re using the holiday’s iconic imagery—the green, the celebration, the sense of community—to create something genuinely unsettling while never losing sight of the human story at its core.”

The film stars Nick Biskupek, Sienna Star, Shayna Burns, Sean Irvine, Douglas Vermeeren, Michael Vassi, Nathan Yee, Zeus Fleming, Damir Kovic, Skylar Nangreaves and Simon Phillips. It’s produced by Douglas Vermeeren, Mark Popejoy, Mark Culbert, Azed Majeed, Damir Kovic, Nicholas Sinnott, Pat Nelson, Kimm Hermann, Alicia Hinson and Slyvia Burke.

“Kill Me I’m Irish” is scheduled for worldwide release in 2026 through Dystopian Films Ltd.
