First-look poster released

Cinema enthusiasts, especially fans of classic and horror films, were recently thrilled by an announcement from Casablanca Film Factory. The world-renowned Hollywood horror film Night of the Living Dead (1968) has been fully colorized and restored by the Indian film production company Casablanca Film Factory.
Along with the official announcement of the new version, the first-look poster of the film has also been released. The poster showcases visuals that breathe new life into the film through modern cinematic color grading, while carefully preserving the original film’s haunting and classic mood. The performances of Duane Jones, Judith O’Dea, Karl Hardman, Marilyn Eastman, Keith Wayne, Judith Ridley, Kyra Schon, Charles Craig, and Bill Cardille remain unforgettable memories for cinema lovers.
Directed by George A. Romero, the film was originally released in 1968 and is still regarded as a groundbreaking work that redefined the zombie horror genre. Considered a turning point in world cinema history, the film has seen a few restoration versions over the years; however, this marks the first time an Indian company has prepared a restored color edition of the film.
The HD colorized version will soon be released on leading OTT platforms, as announced in a Facebook post by Nirmal Baby Varghese, Founder & CEO of Casablanca Film Factory and film director.
