Uncork’d Entertainment is releasing RESET, a mind-bending sci-fi horror feature from filmmaker Michael Yammine. The film will be available on Digital and On Demand starting August 12.
Written, directed, and produced by Michael Yammine, RESET stars Adam Holley, Caitlin Westfall, Tim O’Hearn, Reese Ravencraft, and Lorelai Brown.
Synopsis: A broken father is thrust into a nightmare when his daughter is taken by an otherworldly force. As he navigates a surreal and terrifying dimension, he must confront a monstrous entity and survive a looping cycle of torment. With time working against him, the cost of salvation may demand everything he has left.
Blending themes of grief, time, and existential dread, RESET explores the fragility of human memory and the consequences of emotional collapse. The film pushes the boundaries of traditional genre storytelling, weaving together psychological horror, cosmic terror, and sci-fi mystery to deliver a uniquely disorienting experience.
Making its world premiere at the Amazing Fantasy Fest, RESET secured five awards including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Female and Male Performance, and Best Special Effects Make Up. Critics praised the film for its unnerving atmosphere, surreal imagery, and standout central performance by Adam Holley.
