As announced by Screen Daily this morning, BloodStream, the horror, thriller, and sci-fi streaming platform built for genre fans and creators, is adding select titles from the legendary Full Moon Features catalog to its growing library (read full article).
BloodStream launched late last year with a mission to curate a comprehensive home for horror lovers, combining cult classics, international genre gems, festival favorites, and bold indie voices in one place. The service currently offers a rapidly growing library of more than 2,000 titles on both free ad-supported and ad-free subscription tiers, available across major devices and browsers.
In the weeks since launch, BloodStream has showcased a variety of standout films from across the horror spectrum. Among recent highlights driving viewer interest are the titles Super Happy Fun Clown, The Death of Snow White, Onlyfangs, the long-unavailable cult favorite The Invisible Life of Thomas Lynch, and Talia Shea’s breakout SXSW absurdist, erotic horror short Make Me a Pizza. “I envision BloodStream as being the Criterion of horror streaming services,” says Lead Programer Heidi Honeycutt “where important filmmakers are celebrated and their films given their proper place in horror cinema.”
The addition of Full Moon Features content, from franchises that helped define independent horror, expands BloodStream’s lineup with established fan favorites alongside emerging and international works. BloodStream’s catalog is designed for both long-time genre enthusiasts and new viewers seeking diverse horror experiences, blending cult staples with fresh discoveries from independent filmmakers.
Full Moon Features is known for its enduring impact on horror and cult cinema, with a library that spans decades of genre output. The inclusion of select Full Moon titles on BloodStream marks a notable boost in licensed horror content for the service, offering subscribers direct access to pieces of that influential catalog for the first time on the platform.
“Charles Band has spent decades as one of the horror genre’s premiere creators and it is an honor to be partnering with someone responsible for so many beloved films,” says BloodStream’s Lead Programer Clark Collis. “This partnership cements BloodStream’s position as streaming’s new home for horror and follows our terrifyingly fruitful deals with genre powerhouses Well Go USA (Better Watch Out, the Phantasm franchise) The Asylum (Sharknado), and MPI Media’s Dark Sky Films (The House of the Devil, Stake Land, We Are Still Here).”
More BloodStream programming updates and specific Full Moon titles will be announced soon.
