Production begins October 5th in Indiana, the very state where one of America’s most
shocking true crime stories unfolded, on the upcoming feature film THE FARM, a suspenseful
and atmospheric thriller inspired by the real-life crimes of notorious serial killer Belle Gunness.
THE FARM will be directed by B. Harrison Smith, written and produced by Michael Angelo
Bernacchi, with production by MAB Crew Productions. Cinematography will be led by
Melqui Rodriguez.

Starring as Belle Gunness is Traci Lords (Not of This Earth, Cry Baby), portraying one of
history’s most elusive and terrifying female killers.
Set in 1908, THE FARM tells the story of a seemingly respectable widow who lures lonely men to her rural farm with promises of love, companionship, and a fresh start—only for them to vanish without a trace. As suspicion grows and those closest to her begin to uncover the truth, a carefully built empire of deception and murder starts to collapse.

Based on the infamous true story of Belle Gunness, whose crimes shocked the nation and whose final fate remains one of America’s greatest unsolved mysteries, THE FARM blends historical suspense, psychological terror, and gripping character drama.
A newly released teaser trailer accompanies this announcement and offers the first glimpse into the haunting world of THE FARM.
