Splatter Theatre Press is excited to announce the launch of Canon Fodder, a punk/metal compilation album paying tribute to the forgotten Halloween film sequels! Bringing together some of the best musical voices in punk and metal, like I GOT WORMS, UNCLE SALEM, SNORD, THE MIGHTY DASHNER, GUSTINE, DR. CUJO and more, the album features tribute songs to the films that are no longer canon in the Halloween universe. The bands on this album protest the retcon of their childhoods in the punkest way possible… with music! The official launch date for the 30-day crowdfunding campaign to fund the physical media release is 5/31/26. Every pledge moves the project forward to a release on CD and vinyl, with the potential for even more music as goals are met.
STP believes Canon Fodder will be a unique and welcome addition to Halloween film fandom as well as be a great piece of rock history in its own right.
