Lightbulb Film Distribution is delighted to announce that their film festival hit Dead Lover will be released on all major digital platforms from June 22nd and on Blu-Ray from 7th September.
Following its successful theatrical release, where the world was introduced to ‘Stink-O-Vision’, this dark horror-comedy will delight fans of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Death Becomes Her and Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
Since its theatrical release, Dead Lover has garnered positive reviews from critics. A lonely gravedigger, who stinks of corpses, finally meets her dream man – but their romance is cut short when he tragically drowns at sea. Grief-stricken, the gravedigger goes to morbid lengths to resurrect him through madcap scientific experiments, resulting in grave consequences and unlikely love.
Directed and co-written by Grace Glowicki (Honey Bunch, Booger), the film stars Glowicki, Ben Petrie (Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, The Heirloom), Leah Doz (Faith Heist) and Lowen Morrow (Friday Night Movie), each playing multiple parts.
