ParaConn 6: Connecticut’s Original Paranormal Convention Returns for 1 Day Only Saturday July 11

For years there have been ghost sightings, ghost hunters, and unexplained occurrences. Certain states in the U.S. have been acknowledged as being very “haunted.” Connecticut is certainly among the most haunted states, and, over the past years, interest in the paranormal has been growing. One of the reasons is the proliferation of world-class paranormal conventions.

In 2021, Charles F. Rosenay!!! was one of the producers of Connecticut’s very first paranormal convention, ParaConn, and he is joined by para-partner Thomas Patrick Gormley in bringing the sixth annual event to the state, but in a brand-new location – and with great special guests.

For one day only, Saturday July 11, the ghostly gathering takes place at Clarion Inn Hotel, 201 Washington Avenue, North Haven, CT. The haunted weekend event will feature special guests, seminars, panels, speakers, psychics, authors, vendors, exhibits, live music, and much more. Advance tickets are only $19.99, and the show runs from Noon-6pm (or optional limited V.I.P. admission allows early entry at 11am with first access to vendors, preferred parking, and up-close seating for stage events).

Special Guest of Honor is a legend in the horror field, ARI LEHMAN, the first Jason Voorhees from the classic “FRIDAY THE 13th” film (1980). Lehman is the lead singer in the rock band appropriately named “FIRST JASON.” They will be performing a post-convention concert at Volo Restaurant and Lounge, 117 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Doors open at 7pm. Ari Lehman will be joined by actor JAMES STOKES, a current Jason Voorhees (he also acted in the Netflix series, “Stranger Things”). It will be a rare treat for horror fans to have two “Jason” actors available for meet & greets, photo ops, and to sign autographs.

Along with these actors, there will be 30 more paranormal guests and world-renowned psychics.

Another special attraction at the convention this year is the “MEN IN BLACK” car, which will be on display for photo opportunities.

ParaConn 6 is produced by The Shaman & The Showman LLC and is open to all ages. It will feature a plethora of fun for all ages, of interest to the most experienced of paranormal investigators, as well as the most casual fan or student of all things haunted.
