One voice, one guitar and one drum set. The female fronted Stolen Moans are a band that keeps a small nimble footprint while making a big big sound.

Hailing from Los Angeles, the Stolen Moans draw deep inspiration from the myriad of influences they grew up with. Punk, country, pop, surf, metal, jazz, soul, hip hop, it’s all in there and of course comes out sounding a little bit different.

Comparisons have been drawn with previous stripped down indie rock titans, like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Kills, Sleigh Bells, etc. However the Stolen Moans have their own story to tell, with a sound that’s uniquely their own.

They just launched their debut single “The King of Claws,” which you can check out now…

The song started of as a love song to a very feisty rescued black cat AND THEN became a darkly comedic collaboration with comic book / digital artist Trevor Von Klueg (Metalocalypse, Black Dynamite, Teen Titans GO) leading to a fully animated Gonzo / Horror / Sci Fi music video!
