Shriekfest Announces the ACCEPTANCE of MAX WINSLOW AND THE HOUSE OF SECRETS!

SCREENING AT SHRIEKFEST

Shriekfest has selected the YA Sci-fi Thriller ‘Max Winslow and
the House of Secrets’ starring Chad Michael Murray (Riverdale, One Tree Hill) and Marina Sirtis (StarTrek: First Contact, Picard, The Orville) to compete in this year’s festival. Max Winslow will screen at Raleigh Studios Saturday, September 28th at 8:30pm.

Directed by four-time Emmy® Award-winner, Sean Olson of Standing Room Only Cinema and produced by Johnny Remo of Skipstone Studios, Max Winslow and The House of Secrets, follows five teenagers who compete to win a “smart” mansion designed and owned by tech billionaire and scientist, Atticus Virtue (Chad Michael Murray). To win the mansion, the teens must face-off against a super computer named HAVEN (Marina Sirtis) who controls the mansion but goes rogue.

It’s a great opportunity to not only play on one of the best screens in Los Angeles, but for an audience to check out the incredible work from our cast and crew.”

In addition to 10 features, the festival will also screen more than 35 outstanding and diverse international short films, covering just about every aspect of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy.
The Shriekfest Film Festival runs September 26-29, 2019. An opening night party will take place at Boardners/Bar Sinister in Hollywood; the rest of the festival will be at the iconic Raleigh Studios on Melrose Ave.

Shriekfest, now in its 19th year, was created in July 2001 by Denise Gossett and has grown into the longest-running and one of the largest horror and sci-fi film festivals in the country. Shriekfest is a bi-coastal festival with Shriekfest Orlando on November 2nd. Since its inception, Shriekfest has offered young and upcoming writers, actors, and producers a chance to have their work screened and rated by peers.
