About Author Bil Richardson
Professor Richardson is an author, artist, filmmaker and historian. He is best known as a world class expert on the Hatfield McCoy Feud and other events. His documentaries are being used as teaching tools at such prestigious universities as Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, Marquette and others. He has appeared on NPR’s All Things Considered and numerous television shows including: American Pickers, Mysteries at the Museum, CBS This Morning, CBS Sunday Morning, Blood Feuds, America Fact vs Fiction, the Discovery Network’s Blood Feuds, the National Geographic Channel’s Diggers and more. He has also consulted for the PBS Newshour, Pawn Stars and How the States Got Their shapes.
Bil has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, London Times and hundreds of other newspapers. He also produced a 16 episode series for the History Channel and his work has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.
