The man behind Skullface Astronaut is award-winning indie horror filmmaker Joe Sherlock, a veteran of 30+ feature and anthology films. Writing, directing, shooting, editing and scoring most of his own projects, Sherlock’s extensive body of work includes “Drifter,” “Beyond The Wall of Fear,” “Channel 99” and “Odd Noggins.” Sherlock is also co-producer and director of photography for “Manos Returns,” the official sequel to the cult classic and Mystery Science Theater 3000 favorite, “Manos: The Hands of Fate.”
The blu-ray set features 6 titles with gorgeous brand new art by Belgian artist STEMO, known for his work for SRS Cinema, Spookhouse Studios and Future Video. The DVD box set features 10 titles with artwork by Sherlock himself.
“Sterling Entertainment and I have been working on these box sets for close to a year,” says Sherlock, “and I’ve created new commentary tracks and all kinds of great extras for them. I’m thrilled with the art and excited to see these crazy flicks of mine put out in such great packages.”
