Psychic Fair Joins ParaConn as Great Ghost Events Coming Up

Mystical Mania in the Nutmeg State:

Ghost Convention and Psychic Fairs Coming to CT

Nick Grossmann and Charles F Rosenay!!!, known professionally as “The Shaman and The Showman,” are the producers of Connecticut’s original paranormal convention. Their third annual ParaConn is taking place May 13-14 at the Ansonia Armory in Ansonia, CT. The annual weekend supernatural extravaganza is filled with special guests, readers, vendors, authors, a haunted artifacts museum, and other attractions and features that have made the convention one of the foremost ghost get-togethers on the East Coast. Tickets are only $19.99 from www.ParaConn.org

As a lead-up to the convention, the producers are presenting a Psychic Fairfest on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1 from 1-7pm at the Bad Dog Brewing Company (the “old firehouse”) in Torrington, reported to be haunted. There will be 20 psychics, readers, tarot specialists, crystal readers, authors, healers, and spiritualists. Admission is only $5 (free to veterans and children under the age of 10). The fair is open to ages. Free street parking.

After the psychic fair, an evening paranormal adventure titled “Terror in Torrington” will start at the brewery where guests will not only enjoy dinner (and probably sip some IPA crafted beer), but will also partake in a hands-on ghost-hunting seminar, get a chance to examine (and hold, if brave enough) actual haunted artifacts, including a ventriloquist dummy named “Ragtime Sam,” who is very active and has reached out and touched participants. The mystical mania will continue with a guided ghost tour to the “Lair of the Demon Slayer.” It’s the unique home of a real exorcist with an underground railroad underneath. This is a rare opportunity to explore not just an exorcist’s dwelling, but a subterranean sanctum.

Whereas the paranormal convention and psychic fair are open to the public and there is no attendance limit, the visit to the “Lair of the Lair of the Demon Slayer” is limited to 10 reservations. All events are produced and hosted by “The Shaman and The Showman.”

There are Facebook event pages for all of the above happenings, but for further information on the ParaConn, Psychic Fairfest, or the “Terror in Torrington” paranormal event.
