HORROR MOVIES WITH T&A

IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER…

Tony and Adam embark on a podcast adventure and instantly realise that quality, factual and intelligent conversation isn’t as easy as it looks. Despite this they persevere with their horror movie based waffley chit-chat, taking time out to discuss a randomly chosen horror movie each episode with varying results. Keep telling yourself…..it can only get better, it can only get better, it can only get better.

If you haven’t heard this awesome horror podcast here are some of their recent episodes for you to begin with…

TNA : Ep27 Pieces (1982)

Tony and Adam are on campus, unraveling the mystery of the ‘filthy jigsaw killer’. This is a Juan Piquer Simón movie and this is Pieces.

TNA : Ep26 Blood Rage (1987)

Tony and Adam instantly fall in love with this cheesy slice of 80s horror. John Grissmer’s Blood Rage is a film that really get these guys cranberry juices flowing. It’s even got a tour de force performance by Louise Lasser, a film that should be savoured every thanksgiving.

TNA : Ep25 Goodnight Mommy (2014)

Tony and Adam have produced an episode that everybody is talking about. Veronika Franz & Severin Fiala bring us Goodnight Mommy, a moody little psychological horror that deserves some attention. ………A slow burner; well until 5 minutes from the end. As a special bonus we give the remake a small chat. I know we are spoiling you!

TNA : Ep24 A Bay of Blood [Bloodbath] 71

Tony and Adam take a dive into A Bay of Blood from horror legend Mario Bava, not only was it one of the first slasher films but is also one of the original banned video nasty 72. We don’t have enough time to go through all its aka’s now, Twitch of the Death Nerve, Bloody Deeds etc. Suffice to say this influenced a lot of films.

TNA : Ep23 CHUD (1984)

Underneath the streets of wherever are a race of mutants. Tony and Adam chat about CHUD, a film  by Douglas Cheek, they are undecided, is it a thoughtfully written ecological statement? Or maybe a study of how some members of society can sometimes become forgotten. Above all else this film sets out to demonstrate just one thing – CHUDs like to paaaaarty!
