Italian thriller “Space Monkeys”, directed by talented Aldo Iuliano, set to captivate buyers at the forthcoming American Film Market in Santa Monica.
Produced by Freak Factory and RAI Cinema, “Space Monkeys” is a coming-of-age story that unfolds during an unforgettable end-of-summer party. The plot takes a thrilling twist when five teenagers stumble upon a mysterious app that dares them to embark on perilous challenges. As the challenges escalate, friendships are tested, and the consequences are life-altering.
This visionary film is the first feature by Italian director Aldo Iuliano, who directed previously fifteen short movies, including “Penalty”, winner of over 45 international awards. The cast includes Soud Arsane (“A Genoux Les Gars”), Amanda Campana (known for her role in Netflix series “Summertime”), Riccardo Mandolini (from Netflix series “Baby”) and Haroun Fall (from the popular Netflix series “Zero”). The film’s distinctive cinematography is the work of the renowned Daniele Ciprì, known for “The First King” and “Piranhas”. The editing is masterfully crafted by Marco Spoletini, an award-winning editor celebrated for “Dogman” and “Gomorra”.
