Following a highly acclaimed run at Sitges and Fantastic Festival, visually striking sci-fi drama TROPIC will be hitting theaters on December 1st, with a VOD/Digital release date of December 19th to follow.
Directed by Edouard Salier and co-written by Salier and Mauricio Carrasco, TROPIC stars some of France’s buzziest talent such as Pablo Cobo, Louis Peres, Marta Nieto, and Marvin Dubart. Kubrickian visuals emphasize this haunting body horror fable, bringing together Salier’s fascination with strong, manga-inspired visuals and exploration of dystopia, monstrosity, and youth in toxic societies.
As twin brothers and best friends Lázaro (Pablo Cobo) and Tristán (Louis Peres) train together for the Astronaut Academy tests, they find themselves facing a greater challenge than they ever expected.
