“The scene of Dementia/Isabella: this is why I love this series, and why it needs to be made into movies! The visuals would be EPIC!”

Those are just a few of the fantastic reviews for Psychosis Y Dementia the book series, and the call for a film in the future!

But before it can make it to the big screens,

Psychosis Y Dementia is ready to be made into a graphic novel!

“I wrote; ‘Psychosis Y Dementia – A Love Story‘ as a film script. That script became an eight novel series. In order to garner interest in the project, I adapted the first novel into a graphic novel. Now I am looking to return to the roots of my project and publish the graphic novel.” -Author/screenwriter Hector Valle

Set in the mid 1500’s, The Dread pirate Emilio Augustus Delgado is the captain of ‘The Sea Eagle’. He and his crew are captured at sea by the Spanish Armada and returned to Spain to be hung on the gallows. Delgado has a ‘personal’ relationship with the queen and is given an alternative to being hung. She commissions him to take two ships to The New World and return with a ship filled with gold. He has three years to complete his mission or forfeit his life.

What is left of his crew is accompanied by a contingent of Conquistadores to make sure he returns with the bounty he promised and they set sail for their nine-month journey to The New World.

During the voyage, almost half the crew is lost due to illness, in-fighting and attrition.

Tired and hungry, they arrive in South America to find a peaceful tribe of Mayans that know of a ‘Mountain of Gold’. They enslave the tribe and force them to mine the mountain. Delgado takes their Queen as his concubine and she has a son by him.

After another year, the yield of gold begins to diminish and the pirates and Conquistadores resort to torture to get the tribe to increase their efforts. As time is running out for Delgado, he shows that he is serious in his request for a ship full of gold and kills his son before their very eyes. The murder of their ‘Prince’ enrages the tribe and they revolt but are massacred by the battle savvy Spaniards.

The medicine man goes into the jungle and conjures up a Sasquatch-like creature to exact revenge on the invaders.

The creature is captured and his supernatural powers are bound by a blessed mask made of gold. The creature is then buried, never to walk the Earth again, until he comes in contact with innocent blood.

400 years later, the creature still sleeps… Until NOW!

The demon is resurrected into the body of a slain biker. The creature and the man are now one, but must still come in contact with innocent blood in order to fulfill his mission of vengeance.

With a renewed purpose to avenge the death, he goes forth to exact revenge. But… there is a problem. In the process of searching for the killer, the demon is charged by the dead woman’s spirit to protect her daughter, Didi Sanchez, from her killer and his gang of cut-throats. Confused, he finds himself having to be proactive instead of reactive, and falls in love with her. As more women are subsequently murdered, he finds himself at odds with revenge and the need to protect Didi.

The cycle of murder/revenge continues until Didi is the last woman standing. She ultimately takes revenge on her mother’s killer leaving Psychosis with no resolution to his dilemma and only one option…
