ICONIC RELEASING SETS THEATRICAL DISTRIBUTION FOR TWISTED FAIRYTALE UPDATE ‘CINDERELLA’S REVENGE’ STARRING LAUREN STAERCK AND NATASHA HENSTRIDGE FROM SOBINI FILMS

Mark Amin’s Sobini Films and Iconic Releasing have set April 26th, 2024 as the national theatrical release date for the horror/fairytale CINDERELLA’S REVENGE directed by Andy Edwards (Zombie Spring Breakers) and starring Lauren Staerck (Trust) and Natasha Henstridge (Species).The theatrical release is through anexclusive with Regal, with Quiver Distribution handling all other rights in North America.
In the film, Cinderella (Staerck)’s wicked stepsisters and stepmother push her too far, leading herto swap her glass slippers in pursuit of blood-soaked vengeance with the help of her Fairy Godmother (Henstridge).The film also stars Stephanie Lodge, Beatrice Fletcher, Megan Purvis and Darrell Griggs.
Cinderella’s Revengeis produced by Mark L. Lester and Jessica Mathis at Titan Global Entertainment.
Staerckis best known for her TV roles, including Trust, Bad Influence and The P.A., as well as films like Curse of Jack Frost. Henstridge launched her impressive career beginning with the sci-fi thriller Species, followed by such films asThe Whole Nine Yards, Ghosts of Mars and The Whole Ten Yards. Her TV credits include Eli Stone, She Spies and Diggstown.

Lester is known for his classic Commando and the cult classics Firestarter and Class of 1984 as well as other fairy tales The Beauty and the Beast and Jabberwocky.
Sobini recently premiered their latest film Bleeding Love starring Ewan McGregor and ClaraMcGregor at SXSW this past March.Sobini’s Amin recently produced and directed the CivilWar drama Emperor, starring Dayo Okeniyi, Kat Graham, Bruce Dern, James Cromwell andMykelti Williamson. He also produced the Universal release JT Leroy starring Kristen Stewart and Laura Dern, Sony Pictures Classics’ Miles Ahead starring Don Cheadle and EwanMcGregor, and IFC’s Mary Shelley starring Elle Fanning. In addition to his work at Sobini, Amin served as Vice Chairman of Lionsgate Entertainment and prior to that founded Trimark Holdings, Inc. and served as the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until the company merged with Lionsgate.
