Nine Ladies Film Unveils “The Collector” on Youtube

Nine Ladies Film is thrilled to announce the premiere of their indie horror short film, “The Collector,” which is now available on Youtube at https://youtu.be/SWCI-AfJ9hg?si=eu0_61wxaJNerlJw. Directed, written, and edited by the talented Stuart Wheeldon, this gripping short serves as both a standalone chilling experience and a concept film for an anticipated feature-length adaptation.

Synopsis:
“The Collector” takes viewers on a harrowing journey through the shattered faith of disillusioned Father Raymond (played by Nigel Barber). Ten years after losing a young woman named Cathy (portrayed by Cerys Woodall) to demonic possession, Father Raymond must confront the ghosts of his past when he learns that Sarah (played by Rachel Prince) has come into possession of the same cursed music box that once unleashed terror in his life. With time rapidly running out, and his own inner demons surfacing, Father Raymond must battle sinister forces to save Sarah and prevent the tragic events of the past from unfolding once more.

Set against the eerie backdrop of a haunted pub, “The Collector” offers a captivating exploration of the eternal struggle between Good and Evil. With its intense atmosphere, psychological twists, and heart-pounding moments, the film promises to immerse audiences in a world of fear and suspense, keeping them on the edge of their seats until the terrifying conclusion.

“We are excited to share ‘The Collector’ with the horror community,” said Wheeldon. “This film goes beyond simple scares; it’s about the lengths one will go to confront their dark past and protect those they care about. We believe audiences will be both enthralled and moved by the story.”

The premiere recently at the Wirksworth Horror Film Festival marked a significant milestone for Nine Ladies Film as they aim to engage audiences and garner support for the forthcoming full-length feature.
