What is Angel/Hunter?
It isn’t the plot. That’s all pretty standard fare for the dark fantasy manga genre. Edessa is a bleak, war-torn land inhabited by an oppressed people who keep their heads down for fear of catching the ire of the dark forces ruling the realm. An ancient prophecy foretells the coming of three heroes of legend destined to conquer evil, break the chains and set those people free. You’ll find everything that makes a dark fantasy “good” in the plot of Angel/Hunter.
