EVERY MISSING PIECE CASTS A SHADOW
You may remember that last year I wrote about how much the Twilight Zone influenced me as a writer. More than one person wrote back and asked if I’d ever considered creating my own anthology series. And…it was such an obvious suggestion that I can’t believe I didn’t think of it myself. So, with artist Alberto Massaggia and designer Sonia Harris, we did just that.
PHANTOM LIMBS just launched on Kickstarter. The first chapter, or episode, if you will, follows Adrian, a successful transplant surgeon who seemingly has it all. But, just as he is about to perform the most challenging procedure of his career, Adrian is shocked to discover his medical abilities have been stolen by a very unique thief. Can Adrian regain the skills he worked so hard for, or will the price of talent be more than he can afford?
PHANTOM LIMBS: THE THIEF is a self-contained 24 page horror / thriller that asks the questions: Where does talent come from? Do our skills give our life meaning? What happens when you take a shortcut to talent? And because I wrote it, you can expect bad things to happen to good people.
We have a four chapter “season” planned of different stories that I hope we get to make. But it all starts here.
