Nirmal Baby Varghese Announces New Documentary “Alien Genesis: Beyond the Stars” – First Look Revealed

Renowned Indian filmmaker Nirmal Baby Varghese has officially announced his latest experimental project on his social media, unveiling the first look poster of Alien Genesis: Beyond the Stars. The upcoming horror/sci-fi/mystery documentary explores the age-old question of extraterrestrial existence while pushing the boundaries of cinematic storytelling.

What sets this project apart is that it is entirely created using AI technology, continuing Varghese’s pioneering approach of merging artificial intelligence with cinema. Alien Genesis: Beyond the Stars takes viewers on a journey through ancient legends, conspiracy theories, scientific discoveries, and futuristic visions to confront humanity’s enduring question: Are we alone in the universe?

Produced by Nirmal Baby Varghese and Baby Chaithanya under the banner of Casablanca Film Factory, in association with Iza and Jiyan Productions, the film dives into ancient alien theories, secret government programs, cutting-edge science, and speculative futurism. The result promises to be a compelling narrative that blurs the line between fear and fascination.

Even before its release, the project has already gained international recognition. Alien Genesis: Beyond the Stars won the Best Documentary Film Award at the Zoopraxiscope Hollywood Film Awards 2025, and also received Honorable Achievement Awards for Best Trailer and Best Poster at the Film Trailer and Poster Gala 2025.

The film is set to release in India on September 5, 2025, exclusively on BookMyShow Stream. For audiences outside India, the documentary will soon be available on other streaming platforms, with announcements expected in the coming weeks. The project also lists Baby P. K. and Lilly Baby as executive producers.
