The cover was originally released on CD and Vinyl exclusively for the Scored to Death – Musique d’Horreur horror covers album, the “Intro and Main Title” to the classic horror film, Phantasm, is now available digitally worldwide via your streaming platform of choice. The track was engineered and mixed by Steve Greene at the Battle Chamber Studio.
The film Phantasm, written and directed by Don Coscarelli, was released in 1979 and its iconic score was composed by Fred Myrow and Malcolm Seagrave. Film tagline: Newly orphaned teenager Mike Pearson, his older brother Jody, and their friends face off against a mysterious grave robber known as the Tall Man, who employs a lethal arsenal of unearthly weapons in their southern California town.
