Since 2017, Horror Movie Survival Guide has released a brand-new episode every single Monday, dissecting everything from lesbian vampires and forgotten silents to international slashers, modern scares, and the movies that make us yell at the screen, “DON’T GO IN THERE!”
Now, after nearly a decade of screaming into microphones, LA based Julia Marchese, Teri Gamble & NYC based producer/sound engineer Sierra Rein are approaching Episode 500.
And we want to celebrate the only way we know how:

We’re planning a special series of screenings and live podcast recordings at Ottawa’s legendary Mayfair Theatre in early November — a cinema that has supported HMSG for years, even putting us on their marquee and giving us a plaque inside the theatre.
There’s just one tiny problem:
We have to get there.
We’re an independently produced, ad-free, sponsor-free labor of love. Any Patreon money we receive goes toward keeping the podcast online, so we’re asking our wonderful horror community to help us cover the travel costs for this very special 500th-episode celebration:
