Some doors should never be opened.
Beyond the Gateway is a 2026 supernatural horror feature directed by Johnny McConville and produced by Pranay Sharma.
Four college friends break into the abandoned office of their missing professor and uncover blood-soaked rituals connected to a gateway from another world, unleashing an inhuman evil hungry for fresh blood.
The production story is almost as unusual as the film itself: Beyond the Gateway was made as part of an extreme microbudget experiment in which TWO feature films were shot simultaneously over seven days for a combined production budget of approximately $7,000.
The shoot relied heavily on practical blood effects, makeup, props, real locations, compressed scheduling, and a very small independent crew. Beyond the Gateway is the first of those two films to be released.
