Felipe Femur & Friends Releases New Scary Stories for Kids Just in Time for Halloween

Felipe Femur & Friends expands its revived YouTube channel with three free kid-friendly Halloween stories featuring creepy ice cream trucks, strange classroom magic and mysterious tiny helpers.

Felipe Femur & Friends is expanding its Halloween lineup with a new collection of original scary-story videos created for kids and families.

The revived kid-friendly monster universe has released three new stories on its YouTube channel, each built around a creepy premise while keeping the storytelling appropriate for younger Halloween audiences.

The Nightscream Man
What happens when the ice cream truck doesn’t come during the day? This spooky story follows a mysterious ice cream man who makes his rounds after dark.

I Need A Volunteer
A classroom volunteer discovers that raising a hand can lead somewhere much stranger than expected when an ordinary school moment takes a supernatural turn.

Tiny magical helpers may sound useful at first, but accepting their assistance can have unexpected consequences.

The videos are part of a growing return to storytelling for Felipe Femur & Friends, a monster world originally developed online by twin brothers David Vincent Dorn and Russell J. Dorn beginning in 2015.

Rather than relying only on traditional Halloween monsters, the new stories explore the kinds of strange ideas that can make children’s scary stories memorable: an ice cream truck appearing at the wrong time, an unsettling classroom mystery, and seemingly helpful magical creatures whose assistance quickly becomes something else entirely.

“We wanted these stories to have the feeling of the scary stories kids love telling each other — strange enough to make you wonder what happens next, creepy enough to feel like Halloween, but still something younger viewers can have fun with,” said David Dorn, co-creator and visual artist of Felipe Femur & Friends.

The scary-story videos arrive during a larger 2026 revival of Felipe Femur & Friends.

After years without a major update, the creators rebuilt FelipeFemur.com as a new home for the project’s characters, books, comics, games, stories, artwork, music, activities and family Halloween resources.

The YouTube channel has also returned to regular activity with new cartoons, Shorts, Halloween music, character videos, recipe content and original storytelling.

At the center of the project is Felipe Femur, a friendly skeleton living in the unusual monster town of Toonstone. His neighbors include characters such as Gummy the toothless werewolf, Sunny the sun-loving vampire and Runny the not-so-wicked witch.

The new scary stories broaden that world by giving viewers another way to experience Halloween through Felipe Femur & Friends beyond its established comics, books, games and music.

All three stories are currently available to watch free on YouTube.
