Attention horror fans! Freakish Films, a production company known for their unique horror offerings, is currently seeking support for their new proof-of-concept folk-horror short film, LECHUZA. The film centers around the vengeful witch of Latin-American folklore and explores the theme of our dependence on the matriarchs of our families.
The night before their mother’s funeral, sisters gather in the family coven with a secret plan to resurrect their matriarch. When the spell summons La Lechuza, a vengeful witch of Latin American folklore, the sisters must fight to survive the night.
