Paranormal Convention in May Announces Special Guest Speaker

PARACONN III, Connecticut’s original Paranormal Convention, has announced the addition of Special Guest Speaker Brian Cano of the Travel Channel’s “Paranormal Caught on Camera.” Cano, a paranormal philosopher and investigator, will be on hand to present his lecture, meet visitors, sign autographs, and be part of all the other festivities taking place at the Ansonia Armory in Ansonia, CT on Saturday, May 13th.

ParaConn, presented by The Shaman and The Shaman, also features over 60 vendors and psychics, a museum of haunted artifacts, plus an array of other special guests, supernatural personalities, and authors. Nick Grossmann, the “Shaman” of the team, and director of “Ghost Storm” is proud to bring another fiendish festival to the valley area, which he considers to be a very haunted region of the state. In bringing Cano to the convention, Grossmann notes, “We had the pleasure of having the godfather of the paranormal, John Zaffis, as one of our guest speakers last year and we thought it would be great if we had Cano this year.” Both John Zaffis and Brian Cano worked on the paranormal TV show “The Haunted Collector.”

ParaConn III is a paranormal convention and massive psychic fair combined, produced in an old, haunted fort called The Ansonia Armory. In recent years, Grossmann and his partner, Charles Rosenay!!!, have explored the ancient, massive building, along with intuitive investigation group, CTPASTS. It evokes that castle-like feel and structure to it, and some claim it’s haunted as well. According to legend there is a shooting gallery in the basement that’s off limits, but spirits still haunt there.

Joining Brian Cano at the event will be other established guests of honor such as Sean Austin, Tracy McGrath, Carl Johnson, the Radikals, the Connecticut Paranormal Research Team, Jim “Mr Haunted” Petonino,” Russ Stiver, and authors Leanna Heiber and Sam Baltruris, along with many others. The show, which runs from 11am until 6pm, will be filled with fun and fear.
