LOCKED IN is a brooding psychological thriller, full of twists and turns that keeps you guessing until the final moments. The story pits Lina (Williams), an unhappy newlywed, against her once-famous, brittle mother-in-law, Katherine (Janssen). An elicit passionate affair sets Lina onto a journey of secrecy, betrayal, murder… and a plot to seemingly destroy her. But who is the real victim, and who can she really trust?
LOCKED IN is written by multi award-winning writer Rowan Joffe (Tin Star, The Informer, Before I Go to Sleep, 28 Weeks Later). It was lensed by BAFTA winning and Academy Award nominated Remi Adefarasin (Elizabeth, Fighting With My Family, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey). Alison Jackson exec produces for Gaumont – credits include Obsession for Netflix starring Richard Armitage, For Her Sins for Channel 5 and the critically acclaimed drama series Tin Star, with Tim Roth and Genevieve O’Reilly. Nicky Bentham produces for Neon Films following the acclaimed release of The Duke, with Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren.

Nour Wazzi is an award-winning Lebanese filmmaker and 2023’s Screen Star of Tomorrow. LOCKED IN, is her feature debut, following the popular sci-fi genre series The Last Bus, also for Netflix, making her one of the first Arabs in the UK to break into high-end television. Wazzi has an acclaimed run of award-winning short films including Up On The Roof starring Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Habibti with Hiam Abbass (Succession) and Jimmy Akingbola (Bel-Air), thriller Baby Mine starring Alexander Siddig (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) and Shackled starring Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones). She is repped by Independent Talent (UK) and Lit Entertainment Group (U.S).
Nicky Bentham is founder and producer at Neon Films. Last year saw the release of Roger Michell’s The Duke, starring Academy Award winners Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren. Also in cinemas last year, the feature documentary Who Killed The KLF? a co-production with Fulwell 73. Other feature producing credits include Duncan Jones’ multi award-winning sci-fi Moon starring Sam Rockwell, and The Silent Storm starring Andrea Riseborough and Damian Lewis which was executive produced by Barbara Broccoli.
