SERIES PREMIERE: ‘The Faceless Lady’ Presented by Eli Roth, From Crypt TV and Meta – EPISODES 1 & 2 OUT TONIGHT!

Crypt TV, ShinAwiL, and Eli Roth, in partnership with Meta, are set to launch their first scripted VR episodic series The Faceless Lady presented by Eli Roth. The first (2) episodes will premiere TONIGHT, Thursday, April 4 at 5:00pmPT in Meta Horizon Worlds – RSVP for the event HERE!

Written by Jerome Velinsky and directed by John William Ross (The Birch), this 6-episode series is the first known scripted original VR live action, stereoscopic (3D) series ever produced of its size. For fans without a Meta Quest VR headset, the first (2) episodes will be available to watch on Crypt TV’s Facebook page tonight when they premiere in VR.

The Ireland-set storyline is inspired by the real life seventeenth century Irish folklore of Lady Margaret Hodnett who is said to haunt Belvelly Castle in Cork stalking visitors through mirrors and reflective surfaces. Adapted for modern day with a supernatural twist, The Faceless Lady follows three couples who have been invited to a medieval castle in Ireland for a weekend competition where they will either win her games or lose their lives. Check the series trailer HERE!

Episode 1 – The Bind

●      Episode Description: Lured by a mysterious competition, three couples arrive at a remote Irish castle to compete for its ownership. But this castle’s disturbing history reveals a darker twist, the games won’t just decide who wins and loses – they’ll decide who lives or dies.

Episode 2 – The Black Line

●      Episode Description: Imogen is determined to find a way off the Castle grounds, but not everyone is so sure the competition is as deadly as it looks – especially as the second game begins. Meanwhile, secrets from Ella’s childhood leave us wondering if her presence here is an accident.

Starring alongside Tara Lee (The Fall) and Staz Nair (Rebel Moon), The Faceless Lady cast includes Daisy Jelley (How To Date Billy Walsh), Mei Henri (Hijack), Ugo OnwughaluSophie Rebecca-Jones, and Ned Dennehy (Peaky Blinders).
