Slapstick comedy HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS was a highest rated comedy of 2025 on Letterboxd and has built a cult following around the world. It’s star Ryland Brickson Cole Tews comes to Manchester following sell out shows.

CULTPLEX Cinema will welcome the star of the internationally acclaimed comedy HUNDREDS OF BEAVERS to Manchester in March 2025. The cinema based in Manchester’s Green Quarter screened the film to a sell out audience in November of last year, and now Ryland Brickson Cole Tews is coming to the UK for a victory tour of Letterboxd highest rated comedy of 2025!

The first showing of the tour in Manchester has already sold out within 24 hours of going on sale, with a second date just added.

The american comedy follows in the tradition of early days slapstick silent comedy and centres around a drunken applejack salesman who must go from zero to hero and become North America’s greatest fur trapper by defeating hundreds of beavers!

Critics called it ‘The funniest film of 2024, hands-down’, ‘a shining beacon of how to tip your hat to yesteryear while making something incredibly fresh’ and ‘a joyously silly micro-budget period comedy plays out like a live-action Looney Tunes episode’.

Ryland Brickson Cole Tews will be in attendance for shows on March 10th & 11th at CULTPLEX, and will be participating in a Q&A and audience meet & greet following the screenings. A beaver from the film will also be in attendance for photo opportunities.

The March 11th show has now sold out, some tickets remain for the 10th.

Tickets and information can be found here.
